After majoring in Textile Design at Syracuse University, it was a natural
evolution to branch into Wallpaper Design, where she had a successful career
as a Design Director for Imperial Wallpaper in Cleveland. Janet also enjoyed
freelancing with her own designs.

After moving to Florida over twenty years ago, Janet pursued watercolor and
gouache painting, winning many local and Southwest Florida awards. Realistic
and graphic art are two of her specialties.

In recent years Janet and her daughter have designed custom furniture for local galleries,
upscale shops, and interior design business. Florida's happy atmosphere is the
perfect tapestry to inspire all art forms.
