| Jeff John sculptures
feature a wide variety of subject matter, medium and technique, from bronze children
scenes to traditional figure studies and unique stone carvings. The art of Jeff John is truly unique, capturing the intensity of human emotion in compositions that are both innovative and timeless.Jeff Johns formal art training took place at Utah State University and Ringling School of Art and Design, as well as through an apprenticeship to the sculptor Blair Muhelstein. He currently resides with his wife and daughter in beautiful Southwest Florida. Jeff was first introduced to sculpting through stone carving. His stone carvings now include work in marble, Colorado alabaster and soapstone. These sculptures are one-of-a-kind and feature realistic, powerful animal and human forms. Jeffs current emphasis is creating limited edition bronze sculptures which demonstrate the anatomical expertise and exquisite detail that is a large part of every Jeff John sculpture. Takin Cover is the newest Jeff John sculpture. Full of playful childhood memories and heartwarming faces, this sculpture features 11 children, 2 puppies and a teddybear! The bronze edition is now available and is mounted on a black granite turntable base, so you wont miss a single detail. For further information contact Presseller Gallery or visit Jeff's Site.
