Artistic expression, in it's many forms and dimensions, has been a part of my life from birth in Sarasota, Florida. I grew up in the 1960's and 70's in the eclectic community of the Ringling Museum and School of Art.

This early childhood upbringing, along with very talented mentors, which included my family, provided me with many many avenues to express myself and learn from their artistic ability.

My personal canvas is metal and my brush is a chisel. I work in the ancient art of Repousse'. This is not your high school art class that used thin, soft copper impressed with a ballpoint pen; this is thick guage metal pounded into three dimensional form using a hammer and chisel.

My paints are common household elements and chemicals which react with the metals creating bold colors and interesting textures on the already powerful images. Once polished, each piece is sealed so that it can be displayed either indoors or out.

I have been the featured artist in several galleries and my work has won awards, including First Place for the 2002 Charlotte County Art Guild's "Extreme Artisan" competition.
